Emily Dunn is a seasoned fitness competitor, fitness model, coach and trainer.
"It is something that I feel I was meant to do. I love working with people and helping them achieve their goals in health and in life. Whether it’s watching a client on stage or helping a new mom get back into shape, it makes me happy to see the people I work with become the person they were meant to be."
Emily Dunn has been involved in fitness her entire life. When she was a young girl, she remembers going to Jazzersize classes with her mother in her Jane Fonda leotards. Emily remembers watching the instructor and wanting to be just like her. It was in middle school that she discovered my love for dance and gymnastics. After an injury caused her to take 6 months off from gymnastics, Emily really found herself in dance. She continued to dance through high school, college and after. It was only natural that Emily transitioned into fitness instruction. Emily started with Kickboxing and yoga. Soon, she was certified in every type of instruction she could find; pilates, bootcamp, sculpt, cycle, Hip Hop Hustle, etc. She loves it all and is always looking for new classes to take.
A few years after graduation, Emily's college roommate called to say she was competing in a Fitness America Pageant in Miami and wanted her to compete with as well. Emily only had 4 months to get prepare. Gladly, she took on the challenge. Emily called on her background in dance and gymnastics and put a routine together. Though she didn't place well but she didn't care, she was hooked and has been competing ever since. Emily has competed in Bikini, Figure and Fitness in the Fitness America Federation, FAME and the NPC. Becoming a Fitness Model only seemed the next natural step. Emily has appeared in many local publications as well and Natural Muscle Magazine.
As a Fitness Coach, Emily Dunn helps prepare women to step on stage and take pride in their accomplishments. Emily specializes in complete lifestyle makeovers. She am also a Cathy Savage Fitness Ambassador for Montgomery, AL and the surrounding areas. She is available to prepare fitness, bikini or figure competitors. She also offers makeup and tanning services for competitions as well as special occasions.
As a new mom and wife Emily Dunn understands that sometimes life gets in the way of our dreams. She feel, with a good support system and a goal, we can accomplish anything we set our sights on.
